Why did you make this site?
We made this site because we saw how most systems for generating website traffic either involved
spending ridiculous amounts of money on ads, spamming, or joining reciprocal link networks that
involved adding special pages to your site just to link back to the link directory. Is this a new idea?
Not really. Similar systems, using money, have been around in chain letters and USENET postings
for years. These were of, *ahem*, questionable legality, since a.) they involved a scheme by which
the last people to donate didn't receive anything and b.) made wildly inflated promises of financial
independence. Won't somebody steal this wonderful idea from you? Probably. It wasn't my idea in the first place, so I don't have any claim over it. They can even put their link in this directory if they want! How much traffic can I expect to get from this site? A lot depends on how effectively and how often you spread your link around; the real advantage of the "Pyramid" is what happens after people click it and start advertising their own links with yours underneath. This alone could make advertising the link more successful than advertising your site directly, since you would be able to take advantage of 5 generations of hits instead of the one you get by advertising the site itself. How should I advertise my link? That's the hard part. You could purchase advertising, like I did. Or you can email it to your friends. Buy some text ads. Post it on your blog somewhere. Put it in relevant message boards on the net. There are all kinds of possibilities, and many of them are free or very low cost. Why don't you want adult sites or link dumps?
The goal of this site is to help bloggers, business, and organizations who wish to get traffic. Adult sites
and link dumps have lots of other places to advertise that are more appropriate for their target audiences.
